Whilst the blue plaque installed earlier this year enabled a lot of people walking the South West Coast Path from East to West to recognise the importance of the landscape they were traversing, a number of people arriving in Porlock from the West commented that they wish they had known about Ashley Combe and Ada Lovelace having passed the site.

We are delighted to be able to rectify this with the installation of second plaque facing West from the famous tunnels and hope this will help even more people explore the life and works of the Enchantress of Number.

Ada in Porlock are always pleased to hear from potential volunteers and funders, so if you are interested in joining one of our volunteer groups or supporting our work in the local environment and schools, please contact info@adainporlock.org
